Several LRSD schools have been recognized in the Central Arkansas 2024 Best of the Best Contest by the readers of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette! Roberts Elementary and Jefferson Elementary were named runners-up for Best Public Elementary School. Pulaski Heights Middle School took home the title of Best Public Middle School, and Little Rock Central High School was named Best Public High School. The event offers: College Representatives Opportunities to Connect with Alumni Military Branches Financial Aid Workshop Media Room open from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM A box to the right highlights that college fairs are a great way to explore different college options, learn about specific programs, and get a feel for the college experience. Attendees are encouraged to register for a barcode before the fair at www.StriveFair.com. During the fair, colleges will scan the barcode to send more information about their schools. The day after the event, attendees will receive a report with information on the colleges they interacted with. The graphic includes the LRSD logo and a QR code linking to further details.

Attention Parents of College Bound Students: The LRCH Guidance Office will present our annual College Admission & Financial Aid Presentation on Tuesday, September 17th prior to Central’s Open House from 4:30pm – 5:45pm in the Central High Media Center. Parents of college bound students who need pointers on how to help their students with the college admission and financial aid process are encouraged to attend! This presentation is geared for parents of current seniors and juniors.
